Weekend in Chicago – Day 3

Does this look safe?!

We wondered all weekend whether this might be an issue….not for us, but for other guests who may try to squeeze themselves through a window for kicks.  I dunno – screens or something permanently shut just seem a better way to go. ??

Our last day in Chicago. 😦

Michigan Avenue 1

Beautiful, sunny, perfect outside….the weather didn’t miss a beat on our visit.

Mom and I strolled Michigan Avenue and ducked into a few shops while we waited for Dad to finish his morning at work.

We met up with him around 1:00 in one of my favorite little pockets of Chicago – the Gold Coast neighborhood, specifically near the intersection of Rush and Bellevue.

It’s such a charming area with a mix of restaurants, shopping, and residences.

We made our way back to Tavern on Rush to dine al fresco.

We rolled ourselves back to the Sax in a food coma and took a lazy afternoon in front of the tube.  We did, however, emerge for one more evening walk.

What more can I say….another fabulous weekend in Chicago.  Have I mentioned how much I love this city?  I love it!  I LOVE it!
